When & Where

The event will be held on Sunday, March 11, 2012. The 4 & 10- mile runs start at 12:00PM NOON, and 2-mile starts 2:00PM. All races start on Main St. north of Ocean Ave. and finish at the intersection of Ocean and Main Streets in Ferndale, California.

Awards & Results

Distinctive awards will be presented on race day to 1st place overall male and female in all 3 races, as well as age group awards (5 year increments) for 4 & 10 mile races and school team awards in the 2 mile race. Results will be posted in the Six Rivers Running Club April 2011 newsletter, and available online at www.6rrc.com, or at www.foggybottommilk run.com, or at www.buzzwordproductions.com.

Divisions

Age divisions for the 4 & 10 mile races are 5-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, and 85-89. (See School Registration below for age divisions in the 2 mile race.)

Sorry Not Allowed

Because of the insurance limitations, we do not allow baby strollers, dogs, bicycles, skates, or roller blades in any of the races.

Registration

To be a pre-registered runner, your entry form MUST be postmarked or submitted online at www.6rrc.com, or at www.foggybottommilkrun.com, by FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 2012. After this date, a late fee of $5.00 per person will be added to the entry fee (including each additional family member). Pre-registrants may pick up race packets on Saturday, March 10 at the Joggn Shoppe (1090 G St., Arcata) between 12:00PM NOON & 5:00PM. Packets may also be picked up the day of the race in Ferndale, at the Danish Hall (Ocean Ave, east of Main St) after 10:00AM.

Late Registration

Late registration is on Saturday, March 10th at the Joggn Shoppe (1090 G St., Arcata) between 12:00PM NOON & 5:00PM. Race day registration will begin at 10:00AM for the 4 & 10 mile race, and at 11:30AM for the 2 mile race at the Danish Hall in Ferndale.

T-Shirts

A race T-shirt is included in the registration fee, and will be available for race day pick up for those registered by Friday, February 24, 2012. For those registering afterwards, a rain check may be issued. Shirts will be available for pick up approximately 2 weeks after the race at the Joggn Shoppe in Arcata, or Sport & Cycle in Fortuna.

School Registration: 2-mile run only

There is a special entry fee of $10 for the 2 mile race elementary school and youth group registration for boys and girls age 5-14. There will be 2 divisions: 5-9 and 10-14, for both boys and girls. Team awards will be given, and the top 20 finishers in each school division will receive awards. School team trophies (4) will be presented to winners of the team divisions (teams=5 or more same school/youth group). Contact your local school for more information. School registration is due by FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 17, 2012. School packets, including t-shirts, will be delivered to the schools during the week of March 5th through March 9th.
